Viber and Infobip Help BPI Improve Customer Experience for Cardholders

Infobip, a global cloud communications company, is expanding its presence in Southeast Asia by partnering with Viber to execute impactful business dialogue. This is a big boost for the international tech company—Viber is one of the most trusted messaging apps in the region, helping brands reach customers effectively and securely.

Infobip is a telecommunications and IT company that connects businesses with people via mobile. It does this by using a process called A2P SMSC, which lets brands send automated messages directly to customers. With several high-profile clients worldwide, Infobip is known for its maximum privacy and reliability, having invested €1.8 million in security, infrastructure, and data protection. It has garnered a presence in 56 countries since its establishment in 2006, making it one of the most important tech groups today.

Infobip’s partnership with Viber, therefore, ups the latter’s business potential. There are many ways for businesses to utilize Viber: in Myanmar for example, City Mart, one of the country’s largest retail chains, is using Viber enabled by Infobip to improve customer experiences through a loyalty card.

Similarly, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is planning to utilize Viber and Infobip to enhance the customer experience for their cardholders.

”We are very excited to begin working with Viber and Infobip. There is significant value in exploring how we can apply Viber in reaching out to our clients, our BPI cardholders. Viber will serve as a relevant new channel for our bank where we can further our customer engagement,” said Monica Vergara, Head of Marketing and Media Solutions at BPI Cards.

For businesses, reaching customers effectively requires precision.
