
There are 246,641 Taiwanese people traveled to the Philippines in 2018, a 4.27% growth compared to the previous year, according to Taiwan’s office in the Philippines. While the Philippines have the 6th most visitors from Taiwan, Philippine visitors to Taiwan has grown by 44.13% compared to the previous year, reaching to 419,105.
To continue to boost tourism, Taiwan Tourism Bureau is going to hold a Travel Fair featuring Taiwan Small Town, taking place in Glorietta on April 13. The promotion event will be showcasing authentic Taiwan small town decorated stalls, fun games such as ring toss, pinball, beanbag toss, fishing up the bottle, etc., players can get prizes by passing through these games. What’s more, from April to May, for these whole two months, Philippine nationals can play online game launched by Taiwan Tourism Bureau to win themselves a total of 101 prizes.
All-day programs on main stage invite the public to come onto the stage for matches and watch videos to win prizes. The event is open all day for experiencing Taiwan local specialties, and travel packages are available on the promotion event through airline companies and travel agencies’ stalls for those who are interested in traveling to Taiwan.
To encourage the Filipinos to travel to Taiwan, limited gifts are redeemable at the reception of Taiwan Tourism Bureau for those who purchase travel package or “flight & hotel packages” during the event.
Just don’t forget to pass by the Taiwan Tourism Information Center to redeem exclusive freebies with a round-trip electronic ticket and a copy of two-night accommodation.
