Amira’s academic path, encompassing a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Saint La Salle in Bacolod City and subsequent studies in Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Public Governance at the Ateneo Center for Entrepreneurship and the University of the Philippines (NCPAG), underscores her commitment to personal growth. This dedication extends to ongoing investments in programs spanning science, leadership, and entrepreneurship, reinforcing her belief in knowledge as an agent of change.
At the tender age of 22, Amira was crowned the title of “Binibining Pilipinas Universe 1998,” a platform she embraced with pride and grace as she represented the Philippines at the 1998 Miss Universe Pageant in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her poised representation reflects her steadfast character in the face of challenges. For her dignity, intellect and friendship, she was honored by the Hawaii government with a special Resolution of “ Jewel Lobaton Day” celebrated in Hawaii every May 11.
Amira’s affection for children, which took root at the age of 15, is evident in her creation of empowering initiatives that continue to flourish. A mother to two gifted boys, Martin and Akio, she instills empowerment through her tireless efforts.
As a servant-leader, Amira’s leadership journey includes roles in various non-government organizations, including JUNIOR CHAMBER INTERNATIONAL, Innerwheel Club Makati, and the Rotary Club. Notably, at the young age of 17, she commenced her leadership journey by serving as Chairperson for the Sangguniang Kabataan, displaying her resilience against adversity.
In 2012, Amira established the BATANG PINOY MOVEMENT, a beacon for youth empowerment through Education, Sports Development, Science, and Entrepreneurship. Additionally, she has emerged as a social entrepreneur as Founder and CEO of OmniLive International Company, alongside three other impactful ventures.
Amira envisions a sustainable ecosystem encompassing Business, Healthcare, and Educational Development, aimed at alleviating poverty at the grassroots level. She ardently believes in providing equitable access to resources, for education, healthcare, and entrepreneurial opportunities, empowering young individuals to drive change within their families.
With a global presence, Amira has represented the Philippines in diverse forums on healthcare, business, education, and entrepreneurship. She serves as an educator and motivational speaker for various organizations, championing individuals to unleash their potential. Especially for women, her message resonates—believing and being truthful in oneself are the catalysts for being a transformational leader.
