Every person has cross to bear like problems in work and business.  In handling an enterprise, it’s understandable that a typical businessman would complain of the pains and stresses he has to face every single day.  Though problem-solving is part of the game, definitely every entrepreneur can find stress-busters to cope up with his duties.

The meaning of stress is different to executives and entrepreneurs as the higher the position, the higher the pressure it gives.  However, this is not only the issue here because stress can knock down even ordinary employee or anyone who has low endurance when it comes to stress.  Dr. Phil Maffetone imparted that experiencing it for a long period of time is detrimental.  It can be one factor in having Alzheimer’s, cancer, heart disease, and others. He also added that stress plays significant part in many disorders, bacterial and viral infections, fatigue, inflammatory illness, blood-sugar problems, weight gain, intestinal distress, and headaches.

“Being in control of your life and having realistic expectations about your day-to-day challenges are the keys to stress management, which is perhaps the most important ingredient to living a happy, healthy and rewarding life,”  actress and  Total Health Make Over author Marilu Henner’s sentiment about it.

  1. Avoid thinking that you are stressed out. Assuming you feel that you have huge pressure in your chest.  Experts says start to shoo away that negative vibe by not repeating or reminding yourself about what already happened.  Instead of dwelling on problems alone and how they affect you, focus on things you can do to solve problems and imagine the sense of fulfillment you’ll enjoy in the end.

Identify your Strengths and Weaknesses then ask help if needed-    You have unique qualities that’s why you area able to get where you are right now.  But be also humble to admit that there are things you can’t do.  Perhaps, you are good in management and creative department so concentrate on those areas and choose reliable people to handle marketing and accounting.

If there are enormous ideas already on your mind, begin to stick with your typical practical choices.  Apart from planning in advance and allocate your energies in activities that you prioritize. Avoid looking around when you find what works and best for you as indecisiveness creates complexity and wasted time.  In an Inc.com’s report, Author Heidi Grant Halvorson compared life-making decisions to shopping as sometimes the number of options that put pressure.

“This is why shopping is so exhausting–it’s not the horrible concrete floors, it’s all that deciding,” Halvorson commented.

  1. Have a real support system – There are news that points out that staying long on social media sites will make you compare your little accomplishments and epic failures. Stop comparing yourself, instead find support group that can give you advice especially for your work and business.  You can find business groups either online and offline, but aside from them never lose your strong bonds among your friends and family.
