“Blog” is an abbreviated version of “weblog,” which is a term used to describe websites that maintain an ongoing chronicle of information. A blog features diary-type commentary and links to articles on other websites, usually presented as a list of entries in reverse chronological order. Blogs range from the personal to the political, and can focus on one narrow subject or a whole range of subjects.
How do you become a successful blogger? Here are the 3 things that you need to consider:
1. Great Content -aside from fabulous picture, it should also have a clean writing (meaning content is written grammatically correct and less typo-errors). You should also remember that if you are blogging as a business, always write for an audience. Because your readers are your key in having most viewed blog site. And last, you have to commit and be consistent in what you write to keep your audience/readers engaged.
2. High Traffic – for your blog to retain its ranking, you have to make sure that you get high traffic. How? By promoting your blog site through social media. Use keywords and tags for SEO. Remember that all major search engines have primary search results, where web pages and other content such as videos or local listings are shown and ranked based on what the search engine considers most relevant to users.
3. Influence – be part of the right community relevant to your “niche” or network. Use social media to promote not just the content of your blogs but your lifestyle too. Build a relationship with your audience/readers. In that case, it will make them feel that they have found a new confidant to inspire and motivate them in their daily lives.
Blogging is the easiest way nowadays to reach target market. Everybody spend most of their time online rather than any traditional advertising. Before, blogs are considered as an online diary buy now, it’s evolved into the most powerful and effective form of digital marketing.
